Brief
Vogue India releases a Wedding Book alongside its September-October issue every year, and I was tasked with illustrating a wedding directory of the alphabets A-Z for the 2025 issue.
Phase 1: Ideation
Phase 2: Transferring sketches & type sourced online to a vector format
Keeping in mind the vibrant and lavish culture of Indian weddings, I focused on keeping each letter unique, staying true to its corresponding word. My sources for the images used in the collages include google images, Pinterest and stock photography.
Phase 3: Make a collage of the alphabet
Through a series of iterations and reworks, the final alphabet series came together to represent the meaning of each associated word.
